Picnic Vibes: Carlota (5" x 7") Small Print
Share
Gorgeous shades of blue create the perfect beach picnic in the first (digital) painting of this series. Our beautiful Afro-Latina empresses are having a relaxing day with an extraordinary vibe! They have delicious foods to feast on, including rice and gandules, Spanish chicken, plantanos and empanadas for starters. The revolutionary pictured at the center of this scene (in the locket) is Carlota Lucimi, a brave Cuban woman who led a powerful slave revolt beginning in 1843. The empresses vibe out to music played on their baby blue boombox, and eat to their hearts content while flipping through their "Reina" magazines. Carlota is here displayed on our small paper print, perfect for a desktop or cubicle display. This 5"x7" size is printed on semi-gloss 100lb cover stock paper that is thick enough to stand on its own, but still thin enough to frame.
